Chantilly Lace Welsh Pony Farm is
a small family owned Farm where we breed for quality Section A Welsh Ponies.
There are 3 other Welsh types, the Welsh Section B, the Welsh Cob Section C and
Welsh Cob section D that are equally beautiful
but the smaller ones have
won my heart.

These ponies are very versatile in that they can be shown, used for hunter
Jumper, carting or just ridden for fun. They are more suited for children then
most ponies as they are calm, level headed and very easy to train.

Welsh Ponies are a multi purpose breed that is short and stocky. Originally
hailing from Wales, the pony was thought to have pulled chariots and worked in
coal mines. Along with adapting to varying climates, they love to be around
people. |
|
Our ponies will be handled from birth with imprint training, so when you pick
your baby out, he or she, will be more then ready to go with you and start
their new lives.

I am very excited to share with
everyone my new breeding program for Miniature Mules. My first Miniature
Mule is named Bootlegger. We have had so much fun with him and everyone
loves him who visits the ranch. Bootlegger is only 30" tall. He is very
friendly and very sweet.
So, I went out and bought a 28" donkey jack that is sweet also and I am
going to be breeding for very small Miniature Mules; 25-30" tall. His name
is "Zipper" He is a very
pretty jack; Grey Dun. They may be small, but they are
mighty. They can pull 3 times their weight in a cart.
The Miniature Horse mares I bought are also 29-30" tall. These mares are
all registered AMHA/AMHR and some are Falabella registered. There are many
champions in their bloodlines for halter, confirmation and driving.
